Benjamen Douglas '25

AIAR Alumni - Ph.D.
Benjamen Douglas graduated with his Ph.D. in Applied Intercultural Arts Research in December of 2025. His completed dissertation was entitled, "White Supremacy in the Arts: The Power That Dare Not Be Named."
He is currently the Director of Programs + Strategic Initiatives for Mississippi Arts +Entertainment Experience.

Benjamen Douglas graduated with his Ph.D. in Applied Intercultural Arts Research in December of 2025. His dissertation work, "White Supremacy in the Arts: The Power That Dare Not Be Named."

Benjamen W. Douglas is an activist, scholar, and practitioner of arts management who leverages his expertise as an arts leader, policymaker, and consultant to cause systems change. In addition to completing his Ph.D. in the AIAR Program, he also holds the MA in Arts Management from The American University, and a BA in Music from Delta State University.
