Research Interests/Topics: Ecomusicology, acoustic ecology, environmental and climate change education/activism through the performing arts and multimedia, green religion and spirituality, and photography.

My hope is that through my research and research-informed creative work that I might add to the growing connection between artists, scientists, and environmental storytellers/advocates working to influence the global population to act on issues regarding climate change and resiliency. I want to help foster a better understanding of the ways in which myth-making, storytelling, ritual, and performance can tap into different parts of the human experience, helping us to navigate, heal, and inspire action in the face of global climate change.
