Research Interest/topics: My research areas include implications of increasing access to digital

fabrication tools for underrepresented groups and tribal populations. How University Library

Makerspaces and makerspace technology can be utilized to incorporate experiential learning for

non-arts/architecture/engineering students.

 

Arts Background: I am a classically trained Plein-Aire landscape artist and have a background in

precision machining. I have restored murals in San Diego’s Chicano Park, and painted several

murals around Tucson incorporating teams of students.
